WyzeCam Gets Sequel

The low-cost WyzeCam streaming security camera gets a sequel-- the WyzeCam v2, an update promising improved video and audio quality, from the same low price point.

The WyzeCam v2 carries a 1080p camera identical to that in the previous version, but an improved CMOS sensor should produce crisper images, especially in night vision mode. In addition the amplifier is more powerful, and the audio chip better resists interference.

Another feature getting improvements is the AI, allowing the camera to highlight moving people and objects, making scrubbing through recorded footage in order to find what triggered the motion alert easier.
