Logitech announces the G810 Orion Spectrum-- a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard featuring Romer-G mechanical switches and customisable RGB lighting.

G10 Orion SpectrumA successor to the G410 and G910 keyboards, the G810d promises "near-instant" key responsiveness through the aforementioned Romer-G switches, essentially the Logitech take on the popular Cherry MX Brown switches. The result, the company claims, registers key presses up to 25% faster than standard switches while featuring durability of up to 70 million keystrokes.

The keyboard features dedicated media controls to play, pause and mute music, and users can control the built-in lighting and synchronise it with other Logitech gaming peripherals through Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) complete with 300 pre-loaded lighting profiles. LGS also allows the setup of custom button macros on the F1-F12 keys.

The G810 Orion Spectrum hits European retailers from February 2016.
